One Down, Don't Know How Many More to Go...

So after I got my first 2010 Bowman Carl Crawford card in the mail for O No, Another Orioles blog and after I saw the frenzy that collectors are into over that product AND after I saw how comparatively inexpensive cards of established All Stars are in relation to prospects I decided I wanted to collect EVERY single Carl Crawford card from 2010 Bowman. I have the base card, the retro card and now I have my first 1 of 1. The black printing plate arrived today. A gift to myself, from myself. I think I deserve it. I never really cared for printing plates much and I still don't, but when I get a crazy hair up my.... I just have to go with it. 100% Bowman domination is the mission, this is step one. Oh, I am planning a contest that involves my Crawford collection and as I think of prizes I am considering offering a Crawford rookie and a Crawford certified auto. Would anyone be interested in these as prizes? Just checking. Thanks for reading. If you have 2010 Bowman Crawford cards, send them to the Troll! Go Rays! Troll out!

  2. Being someone who has ZERO printing plates and has NEVER pulled a printing plate, you won't catch me complaining about them. Nice pickup! I know who Carl is....the Grand Slam Man!

  3. That's a sweet plate and looks like a cool action shot on the card. I would be in on a contest for a Crawford auto.

  4. I'm going to take it back; it sure looks like a TC sleeve logo, but those are the "the" sideburns, so probably not Mauer, but sure doesn't look like Redmond, either. Huh.

btw, I've had several recent posts at my blog, but your side tab still shows one from three weeks ago. Man, I wish Wordpress played better with Blogger. Then maybe "mmmrhubarb" would actually say "Rhubarb_Runner" instead.
