Last Night, Rays Win!

Back to work and back to school and back to my miserable schedule... The game last night was amazing! The Trop was packed, there were more Rays fans than Red Sox fans and we shut them up and most left early. I was bummed to not see Ellsbury, Pedroia and Martinez, but was thrilled to win. Our starting pitching was awful. Matt Garza needed 80 pitches and some amazing defense behind him to last 3 innings and only give up 4 runs. We also blew a safety squeeze which aint good, but the team came together, hit when they needed to and we won! John Jaso delivered the clutch hit to put the Rays in the lead and 5 pitchers from the bullpen threw one shutout inning each and the Red Sox didn't plate a run after the 4th inning. Dice K wasn't great, but wasn't awful either. After he hit the 90 pitch mark he seemed to tire and the Rays pounced on it. It was a good night. Go Rays! Troll out.
