The First Ever Collective Troll Reader Appreciation Contest Is HERE!!!

It’s contest time!!! The first annual Collective Troll Reader Appre-ciation contest is here! Thanks to everyone who contributed to this blogs 75,000 hits and 100 followers! It’s time for me to give back. I am going to try and keep this post short (for me) and sweet. The contest will stay up for 3 days. I put a poll up on the side bar that will run for 3 days. When the poll closes, you can no longer enter the contest. The rules are simple. You must follow this blog to enter. If you have a blog yourself, please add this blog to your blog rolls. One entry per person. I would encourage you to mention this contest on your blog, to vote in the poll, to follow the Nitty Gritty and to check out my new sources for Rays News, but doing those things will earn you a thank you, but not an extra entry. To enter comment on this post or any other post that is authorized on this blog. Simply put your name. That’s all that is necessary. You can add your location, your blog name, your favorite team or your shoe size if you wish, but all you have to do is enter your name. There will be up to 11 different winners based on randomization and number of entries. There will be a grand prize winner who gets first pick of the prizes, second, third, etc. All of your names will be randomized 3 times and the winners will be based on numbers I have preselected and posted on the sidebar. It will not be 1-2-3-4-5 on the list. If 25 people or less enter there will be 2 prizes, 40 makes 3, 60 makes 4, 75 makes 5, 90 makes 6 and over 100 different entries will yield 7 winners. If you guys pass 120 you can make it 8, pass 150 and I will give it all away to 11 different winners. Remember it is winner’s choice; I am giving y’all 11 different options. There are 3 Hall of Famer autos, 4 other autographs or 4 relic cards to choose from. Basically the more people who blog roll this blog and enter the contest, the more winners there will be. All of this might sound complicated, but I will deal with all that. All you have to do is follow this blog, comment with your name and cross your fingers. It is that easy. A few people have asked me why I am giving these cards away. The reason is simple; I appreciate the card blogger family. Through hard times it has picked me up and all the time it makes me feel welcome and I truly enjoy posting as often as I can and I love reading all of the other blogs out there. This is my way of saying thanks! So, to everyone who has ever stumbled across this blog, commented on it, traded with me or sent me a message, I do appreciate it! Good luck to all… Oh, the prizes. Yeah. Here is what you can win… All of the autos are on-card unless noted, some are serial numbered and all of them are awesome!
Brooks Robinson.

Al Kaline

Ralph Kiner

Frank Howard

Your choice of one of these 3 young pitcher's autographs from Topps T206 (Johnny Cueto is a sticker auto)
Or if it’s your preference, any one of these relic cards.
Okay, that is it. While you are here, please check out some of my other posts. Check out the Nitty Gritty Card of the Day everyday or my new source for Tampa Bay Rays News-this site will launch officially on opening day, but it won’t hurt to check it out now, plus are a new sponsor of this here blog, so show them some love… Good luck to everyone! Thanks for reading! Don’t forget to vote in the poll for Greatest Rightfielder of All Time…When the poll ends, so does the contest. It will be open for 3 full days. I wouldn't wait, enter now! Remember that this is on the honor system. You must be a follower, one entry per person, no cheating! Good luck to all and thanks for reading! Go Rays! Troll out.

I am a Mets fan (I know, I'm a glutton for punishment) and I am the sole proprietor of BA Benny's Baseball Card Buffet. I live in New York City, My favorite color is red and I wear a size 9 Shoe.

  21. I'm cynicalbuddha and I love gravy more than canadians and cheese. Oh Trollie with all your bacony goodness you make such nice easy contests, easier I dare say, then JD dad's olymipic contest. You've made me laugh and cry so far this year keep it up. And your story of your card theft still haunts me. And you've been on my blog roll since I started blogging. Gotta vote for my man Reggie, even if he was an/is and egomanic hotdog.

  26. My name is Dayf. My shoe size is 12, but sometimes 13s are more comfortable so I get those. When I go bowling I'll usually get a 13. I like to get the bigger size when I'm bowling to make sure I'm comfortable out there. So I guess you could say I'm a size 13 but sometimes size 12 fits better. I have weird feet. No really, my right foot is exceptionally weird. I'm wearing 13s now, but I should probably think about getting a new pair soon. I usually look for 12s because those are easier to find in the clearance aisle. I'm cheap too. You know what, let's just go with size 13.

My name is Dayf. My shoe size is 13.

  27. My name is Timmy. Would you like to come out and play? If not we could watch the dvd I made with your mom the other night. Oh well, I guess I'll bring the box of play dough in from dad's garage. It's really fresh cause it has a stamp date of C4 on it. We will have to put food color in to make it different colors since it's all grayish in color. Could you help me set it by the fireplace so it softens up a little more? ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

"Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, rum. He will come."

  64. My name is Sarah and I smell pot roast in the oven. I love pot roast. It smells so damned good! Biscuits are baking as well. Or cooking. No, baking sounds better. Baking implies homemade though and these aren't. They are frozen.

Word of advice.... Frozen biscuits stick together and are hard to unstick once they stick. I like homemade ones better, but I'm lazy and we don't have the ingredients.

The pot roast has carrots, potatoes..the red kind.. whatever they are. Plus onions. I love onions. I could take a bite out of a raw one and I'd enjoy it. I'm odd like that. It also had spices and a basil leaf. Not leaves, but leaf as in one. UNO (fun game btw)

  65. Hey Troll, My name is Motherscratcher. So that's what you call me.

My blog is the Achiever Card Blog:
    http://achievercardblog.blogspot.com/
(sorry, I don't know how to make a link)

I'm pretty sure I was already following you but I hit the follow button just in case. The reason I don't know is that I have no idea what's actually supposed to happen once I start to follow a blog. I have never noticed any difference.

I will list a few things about myself:

    1. I like the Coen Bros. Those dudes can make a movie, man.

    2. I live in Cleveland. It's not as bad as it sounds.

    3. I think we might surprise some people this year.

    4. Cliff Lee was always a bit of a jerk so he doesn't bother me much but CC Sabathia is dead to me.

    5. If I ever see Jose Mesa on the street I will...well...I probably won't do anything.

    6. Wait, yes I will. I'll give him a really dirty look.

    7. I went to Ohio State. Yes, I realize that nobody likes us.

    8. I think baseball is broken, but I don't know how to fix it and I love it too much to give it up.

    9. My favorite band is Radiohead.

    10. No, wait...Pearl Jam.

    11. No...Radiohead.

    12. .......call it a tie.

    13. I like Cheese quite a bit. I am ashamed to admit that my favorite is American.

    14. No matter how much I like cheese I have yet to find one that goes well with ice cream

    15. I won't give up.

    16. I think Hafner will be back in a big way this year.

    17. I think this comment is too long and I will now stop.

  66. I'm P.A. I'm a Rangers fan. The past decade has been pretty rough on my team, but perhaps last year gives us a glimmer of hope.

Awesome contest - keep up the great work
