Still Ripping-Pack #29 of 1997 Pinnacle X Press

If somehow you missed the Ground Hog Day Contest over at Play at the Plate, go get in on it now! I am speeding along with the rippage tonight, here we go with pack #29 of 1997 Pinnacle X Press…
#29 Todd Hundley New York Mets (They started chiseling a plaque in Cooperstown for the Mets superstar switch hitting catcher after he hit 41 homers in 1996. He followed it up with a decent year in 1997 and then batted below .200 in three of the next six seasons)
#76 Henry Rodriguez Montreal Expos
#79 Pat Hentgen Toronto Blue Jays (Hentgen won the Cy Young Award in ’96 when he posted a record of 20-10. In 1997 he replicated his Cy Young season almost perfectly, BUT won 5 fewer games. He still led the AL in innings (264), starts (35), complete games (10) and shutouts (3), but a 15-10 mark just doesn’t look as good…)
#127 Brooks Kieshnick Chicago Cubs
#??? Swing for the Fences Game Card Jose Canseco Oakland A’s
#39 Toby Clark Detroit Tigers
#46 Bernie Williams New York Yankees (Bernie’s 449 regular season doubles rank him second behind Lou Gehrig on the Yankees All Time list AND he added 29 more in October AND he plays a mean guitar)
#63 Jermaine Dye Kansas City Royals (With all the hype that had surrounded some of the other guys in this pack-Dye outslugged them all in his career. The 16th round draft pick has 325 homers. 16th best among active players and 95th of All Time)
Okay, another step closer... Car is fixed and running like a dream! It would be a perfect night if not for the rain. Stupid rain. Should the rain let up I might knock out 5 more packs tonight... Can I get an anti rain dance??? Go Rays! troll out.
